And what a comforting truth this is: Jesus is not indifferent to what threatens your intimacy with Him. He is the faithful Gardener of your soul. He is willing, even eager, to help you remove anything that would come between you and Him. Even blooming gardens attract little foxes: hidden sins, distractions, compromises that quietly spoil the fruit of intimacy with Him.
